People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry is a super fun summer read! I loved her last book Beach Read so I was very excited to read this one! It’s an updated take on the When Harry Met Sally type story (which is one of my all time favorite movies) with cute characters and witty banter!
Colorful Poppy and straight-laced Alex meet at college orientation and are complete opposites. They meet again when she gets a ride home with him at the end of their Freshman year. After realizing they do get along, they become traveling buddies and take a trip together each summer but they keep their relationship completely platonic, or maybe mostly platonic😘. Through the years each of them have other relationships but none of those pan out. Does their friendship get in he way of those other relationships? How do they really feel about each other? They take one last summer trip to figure it out!!
Definitely put this on your summer reading list!!
