Goodnight Beautiful by Aimee Molloy was just what I needed! I had been in a reading funk and needed to get out of it and this did the trick! A fast-paced psychological thriller with interesting characters and twists that I didn’t expect. Sam and his new wife Annie move back to his hometown to be close to his ailing mother. Sam, a psychologist, opens a private practice, and is building a steady business of locals with problems when he disappears. What ensues is strange and creepy and kept me engaged. I got this as my Book of the Month pick, read it quickly and enjoyed it! While this won’t be at the top of my 2020 Thrillers list is is entertaining and just what I needed. Now, the big question is what to read next so I don’t fall back into my reading lull!
