Evvie Drake Starts Over by Linda Holmes is a sweet novel that I enjoyed very much! Evvie (pronounced like Chevy), has been unhappy in her marriage. Then her husband is killed in a car accident just has she has gotten up the nerve to leave him. The effect on her was harder than she expected but she slowly gets her life back together with the support of friends, family and an unexpected newcomer on the scene who is also trying to get his life together after his baseball career took a tough turn (could there be chemistry there
). I heard about this through Read with Jenna this fall and I so glad I picked it up!
